Bangkok’s first true take on a tiki bar has proven to be a hit. Since opening in 2017, Tropic City has become the city’s go-to spot for elaborate tropical drinks, thumping disco and house, and late-night revelry that’s known to last long after most bars close. Naturally, rum stars in several drinks – often alongside house-made infusions, reductions and tinctures – but there’s also a wide selection of cocktails featuring gin, tequila, whisky and vodka, plus great non-alcoholic options.
