You won’t have to sacrifice your creature comforts as the tents are outfitted with power outlets, fans and even air conditioning. In Singapore, companies are setting up tents in lush beachfront areas like Pasir Ris Park and East Coast Park. If you’re looking for a unique weekend getaway, here are five of the best glamping providers in Singapore.

1. Heavenly Glamping Singapore

Heavenly Glamping offers its luxe experiences in two locations. At the ORTO Yishun 24-hour leisure park you can pick the Grand Deluxe package that comfortably sleeps a party of six. The spacious white bell tents come replete with amenities including three queen-sized air beds, Insta-worthy fairy lights, a power point, large fan and an even air conditioning unit. Outside the tent, there’s a foldable table with chairs and a small barbecue pit.

The second location at East Coast Beach is perfect for couples who want a more intimate experience. Here, you can opt for the Couple Package which includes a smaller bell tent, a single queen-sized air bed and a pair of battery operated fans.

2. Glamping Society Singapore

Singapore’s first luxury camping provider, Glamping Society, offers a wide range of packages for couples and larger groups of up to six people. The Couple Package ($299) include a medium-sized tent that’s decorated with flower petals and a picnic setup with a pizza and bottle of sparkling juice. Top up for whimsical touches like a fairy light pathway, a candlelit lace standee to picnic under and a mini cheese platter.

Glamping Society Singapore also offers packages for larger gatherings of up to six people – there are also special hen’s night and bridal shower packages. For locations, you can pick between East Coast Park (weekends only) or the Glamping Farm Resort near the Kranji Sanctuary Golf Course.

3. Wondrous Glamping

Founded in 2017 by Wonda and Sherryl, Wondrous Glamping is an experienced provider that offers camping experiences at East Coast and Pasir Ris Park. Their most affordable package is the $200 standard package which sleeps two comfortably. It includes a spacious four-metre bell tent, a queen-sized air mattress, carpeted floors, fairly lights and a pair of portable fans. Premium packages are also available with room for additional guests and enhanced decor. If you’re celebrating a birthday, anniversary, hen’s night or even planning to propose, you can even opt for themed add-ons.

4. Glamping City

In addition to offering stays at East Coast Park, Glamping City also does luxury camping setups at Orchid Country Club – perfect for glampers who want a quieter, more secluded location. A variety of packages are available, catering for parties of between two and six people. For a truly unique experience, spring for their futuristic Premium Dome ($399-$429) which is fully air conditioned and features a skylight.

You can also add on optional packages for breakfast, dinner, picnics, birthdays, proposals. There’s even a movie screening package that includes a large outdoor theatre setup. Another highlight of camping at Orchid Country Club is that you’ll also have access to the club’s pool and sauna along with a one-hour pass for tennis and bowling.

5. Staycation in the Wild

Want a glamping experience that’s completely out of the ordinary? From now till 30 December 2022, Singapore Zoo is hosting glamping staycations that include unique wildlife experiences. The one-night stay ($1,599) is meant for a family of four and includes a spacious dome tent at the Pavilion by the Lake, zoo admission tickets and breakfast and dinner at the Forest Lodge. Guests will also get to participate in a variety of wildlife programmes including guided tours and feeding sessions with the zoo’s Asian elephants and rhinoceroses. On the last day of the glamping experience, you’ll also get to meet the zoo’s mystery animal ambassador!
