Social media posts and the hearts’ of Singapore residents began to soar in mid-October when news of a prospective two-way Singapore–Hong Kong travel bubble was announced for both leisure and business travellers.
Since then, more exciting details have begun to emerge. According to a story by The Straits Times on 1 Nov, HK Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Edward Yau said that the bubble could open as soon as the end of November, with at least one flight between the two cities each day during the initial stage of the arrangement.
The anticipation has been burgeoning, with prospective travellers dreaming big on social media, and hotels, restaurants and other businesses announcing packages and promotions to welcome tourists once again.
Here at SilverKris, we’ve channeled our excitement into an up-to-date guide to Hong Kong. While details on tests, quarantine durations and other numbers are yet to be released, it’s time to get booking.
