In pics: Monsoon along the Western Ghats

The lush Western Ghats are older than the Himalayas. It’s home to an extensive ecosystem consisting of a variety of flora and fauna, many of which are unique to India. A Unesco World Heritage Site, the Western Ghats are spread across the Indian states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. Adorned with distinct hues of green and spectacular views, monsoon in the Western Ghats is a sight to behold. Here’s a look in images.
