Domestic flights to resume operations, here’s what to keep in mind

As the world begins to accept its “new normal” as relaxations from the Covid-19 lockdown begin, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has taken the decision to resume flights from 25^th May 2020. This news has come as a respite to many. Here are some “flying” guidelines that have been released by the Ministry of Civil Aviation.

Follow the norms

Social distancing and minimum touch

Digital payments and use of authorized taxis

Baggage limitations – only one check-in bag and one cabin bag allowed

Do’s:

Ensure web check-in and obtain a boarding pass

Ensure wearing a mask before entering the terminal

Take all precautions during transit to airport, to prevent infection

Dont’s:

Passenger should not travel if he or she is staying in a containment zone

A passenger who has been tested positive for Covid-19 should not travel
