This new route allows SIA to enhance its connections between the Benelux countries and Singapore, alongside the already operational non-stop flights to Amsterdam in the Netherlands and Dusseldorf in Germany.
“We are excited to launch services to Brussels – a city that is both an important economic and political hub in Europe. This also represents SIA’s commitment to constantly expand our network reach and provide our customers with a more seamless travel experience,” said SIA’s Senior Vice President Marketing Planning Tan Kai Ping.
As the capital of Belgium, Brussels is home to the European Union (EU) and is also dubbed the EU’s capital city. It’s noted for its rich historic and cultural sites, such as the St Michael and St Gudula Cathedral, Parc du Cinquantenaire and the Royal Gallery of Saint Hubert, as well as for its delicious chocolate and huge range of beers, for which Belgium is world-renowned.
The city’s unique geographical location also makes it an ideal hub for rail, road and air traffic, earning Brussels the moniker “The Crossroads of Europe”.
Tickets for flights to Brussels are now on sale through various distribution channels.
