SilverKris and KrisFlyer Gold Lounges at Changi Airport Terminal 3 are currently undergoing a major revamp, with Singapore Airlines (SIA) investing more than S$50 million in renovations, which are expected to be completed by mid-2021.
SIA has engaged renowned hospitality designers Hirsch Bedner Associates to inject a fresh look and feel to each lounge. The redesign will see a 30 per cent increase in space and total customer capacity – offering more generous open spaces, upgraded facilities and a wide array of F&B selections.
The KrisFlyer Gold Lounge will soon have dedicated working spaces, as well as larger restrooms, showers and alfresco seating and dining areas. Suites and First Class customers can look forward to a brand-new The Private Room and First Class Lounge, while the Business Class Lounge will be expanded and now feature four distinct zones that cater to all travellers, from those with a short transit to a long layover.
The latter will also feature a full-service bar that doubles up as a self-service breakfast station in the mornings, productivity pods and a rest area with chaise lounges.
The construction process will be carried out over four phases, during which the lounges will be progressively renovated in sections. Customers affected by renovation works will be invited to temporary lounges to ensure minimal disruption during this period.
