The current number of nights per month that the Taj Mahal is open to visitors. At the moment, after-sunset visits happen on a night with a full moon, as well as the two nights preceding and following it. However, the government recently announced plans to keep the landmark open beyond 6pm, as part of a nationwide project to extend visiting hours at popular tourist attractions.

The number of people that are currently allowed to enter into the Taj Mahal on each of these nights. They are split into eight groups of 50 and have to take their respective turns.

What it costs foreign tourists to enter after 6pm. The Tourism Ministry has hopes to illuminate the monument at night, making it ever more spectacular.
