Top yatra experiences in Nepal

Vedic scholar, astrologer and Vastuvid, Acharya Basudev Krishna Shastri, lists the special pilgrimages and holy sites for travellers in 2020.

Tourist Promotional Mahayagya: Hailed as the “mukti kshetra” the Muktinath Temple is called a place for spiritual liberation. A special yagya or fire worship will be held in the coming year at Dev Ghat, the holy spot where the sacred River Kali Gandaki from Muktinath meets River Trishuli.

Baishakhi Mahayagya: The Nepali New Year or Baishakhi will be held in April 2020. Special havans, religious congregations of Sankaracharya, Jagatguru, acharyas, seers and gurus are planned to be held in Kathmandu as well as all over Nepal.
