It seems like just yesterday when Marina Bay Sands (MBS) officially opened in June 2010 amid much fanfare, forever altering the skyline of Singapore with its three iconic towers and the distinctive SkyPark topping the building. Ten years in, the integrated resort (IR) is still deemed an architecture marvel and a much-lauded attraction, with its 360-degree views from the observation deck, world-class theatre, luxury retailers, high-end suites and top restaurants helmed by renowned celebrity chefs.
To mark its 10th anniversary this year, MBS has launched 11 innovative cocktails created by its celebrity chefs and signature restaurants, with each cocktail detailing a chapter of the integrated resort’s story.
10 Years of Mixology begins with Mott 32’s East Atlantis that speaks of MBS’s bold beginnings as a glittering icon standing proudly among the waters, followed by KOMA’s Dusk to Dawn that evokes a dynamic energy and describes the integrated resort’s pursuit to deliver the city’s best nightlife experiences. Additionally, Club55’s I Dream of Greenie is a tribute to MBS’ commitment to sustainability, while Yardbird’s Bourbon by the Bay evokes a sense of tranquility that arises as you lounge by the Marina Bay waterfront.
Then there’s Renku’s Two-0-Two-0, which pays homage to MBS’ decade-long journey, Spago Dining Room by Wolfgang Puck’s The Infinity that celebrates MBS’ infinite possibilities, and ADRIFT by David Myers’ Re:Imagination, which, as its name suggests, reimagines the future as MBS embarks on its next chapter.
Available until 30 December 2020 until 10pm daily, each cocktail costs S$20 nett. For a full list of cocktails and what they represent, visit here.
Please check the establishments’ respective websites for opening hours before visiting, and remember to adhere to safe-distancing measures while out and about.
